NHS Birmingham South Central is a membership of 57 GP practices in the south and centre of Birmingham. Many of our GP practices run patient participation groups. These are often known as PPGs.

PPG meetings are usually chaired by a patient and are supported by GP practice staff, this varies and may be the practice manager, GP or practice nurse. You can contact your local GP Practice to find out if your GP practice has a PPG.

How do I find out whether my GP practice has a PPG?

If your GP has a PPG you can find information on their practice website. If you’re interested in joining your local PPG or if your GP practice doesn’t have a PPG then get in touch with your local practice manager.
